Quickly and easily attach two SM57 microphones at 45 degrees for Fredman mic’ing.
Saves you the time and effort of utilizing two stands and keeps the microphone angles in perfect alignment for the Fredman technique.
The Fredman technique is utilized for mic’ing guitar cabs. It involves blending the two microphones to dial in a great guitar tone with less “fizz” by utilizing phase cancellation. Note in order to grip the microphones the clips do put a bit of force on the microphones and there is a possibility of tiny scratches to the surface particularly if you have black flat matt finishes.
This clip works with the following microphones:
- Shure SM57 x 2
- Shure Unidyne III x 2
- Video showing insertion of a mic
